As a Minnesotan that now lives someplace it hardly ever snows, I have enough mental separation from shoveling snow to unreservedly love the one or two times a year it snows in Portland
It’s only just started to come down in the last few hours here in urban Portland. Doesn’t seem like we’ll end up with any accumulation.
I’m missing my dog a lot right now. I really wish I could take her for a walk in this. She loves snow.

As another former Minnesotan, screw the weather forecasters here for getting my hopes up. I want, no, I need to go do some snownuts!

After that day a year or two ago when the chance of snow lead to lots of school closures even though there ended up being no accumulation, I’ve started to expect 2 inches less than the forecasts say, so I won’t be disappointed.
I didn’t realize you were also a Minnesotan! That makes three Minnesotan Oppos now living in Portland

Is that what it is? It says “Torino” on the side.
I t moves very, very, infrequently, but it does move.

Ah, okay! I didn’t zoom-in on the badging! 1970 is a weird year because you had the 2-door Falcon coupe that looked similar to the Torino/Fairlane except the Falcon had b-pillars whereas the Torino/Fairlane is a hardtop coupe.

Also as a Minnesotan in Tacoma, I couldn’t disagree with you more. Fuck the snow! It can stay away. While I do love driving in the snow, I do not like working in it. The mountains are a short drive away if I want to play.

Also Minnesotan living in Portland... My Jeep was begging for SNOWNUTS, and I was begging for a free day off from work. Sad!

I’m lucky enough to have a job where I can work from home, so I don’t have to deal with shitty road conditions and the accompanying traffic if I don’t want to

I was really hoping to take the truck out and try to learn how to do donuts

Ha! My girlfriend and I were just joking about how when certain people estimate things in inches reality usually ends up being 2 inches less.
Obviously we’re only talking about weathermen here, get your mind out of the gutter!
I didn't know you were either! Small world I guess
